All of my life I have worked to improve my artistic abilities. I have worked with acrylics, wood carving, stained glass, sandblasting, and pottery, but my primary media and main love is watercolor. It is only recently that I have been able to consider my art work my main occupation.
I retired from the Salish Kootenai College in 2002 after working there for 13 years. My positions at the college their included instructor, early childhood development and assistant librarian. I also worked for the Forest Service for six years. While working I also raised six children and now enjoy spending time with them and my seven grandchildren. In between jobs I was able to work in some travel by doing odd jobs in such places as Jackson Hole, WY, Yellowstone Park, Oregon, Hawaii and Tennessee.
I currently do painting, mat board cutting and carve walking sticks at my home. My portfolio includes copies of some of my paintings. I also accept consignment work.
