Something About Summer Fun and Learning Camps
Summer camps are a fun and exciting mode of developing self confidence, making new friends, learning new skills, and spending holidays more effectively. The majority of summer camps is generally a good mix of fun, adventure, and creative sessions and is typically of one to two weeks’ duration.
There are overnight camps, which are arranged for older children, include food and accommodation. Whilst the most of summer camps are designed keeping children and teenagers in mind, there are others that can suit adults also.
All summer camps are conducted by efficient coaches. They organize a range of outdoor activities to challenge the patience of students. Cycling, mount hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding are some of the outdoor activities that you might expect from summer camps.
There are also waterfront activities just like rowing, fishing, snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, swimming, and water skiing can also be included in a summer camp according to the area you select for your camp.
Summer camps also bring together several recreational sessions just like golf, tennis, archery, and basketball to introduce children to new sports. Many summer camps also cover lessons in calligraphy, painting, ceramics designing, beadwork, pottery, and sketching to expose kids to latent skills and at the same time employ their imagination.
Some of the most famous themes for summer camps include recreational summer camps, summer fun camps, educational summer camps, computer summer camps, and summer camps for arts. Among these, computer camps are getting a huge positive reaction since everybody wishes to stay ahead in this high-tech age. If you want to make your children computer savvy, then these camps are just for you.
Opting for the apt summer camp for your teen is very important particularly since you end up paying a significant amount of money for such programs. Go for ones that have been around for a while and have a good name.

Kiln Questions?
I am new to pottery and have become addicted! I am looking at buying a kiln and am wondering what kind of kiln to buy.
- I am not looking to do anything too big so I don't need a huge kiln, but I would like to do vases, pitchers, etc.. maybe 12" high as the finished product (after the "shrinkage"). I also like to make plates, not huge ones just typical plate size. So I am wondering how big of a kiln I would need to buy to be able to make these sort of things. I don't mind having to fire them one at a time.
- All the kilns I have looked at have all kinds of weird plugs. Am I just looking at too big of a kiln? Is there any kind of kiln that would work with just a normal USA outlet?
- My budget? I am a college student. I think that is all I have to say...
Thank you in advance!
here's the site of one manufacturer

are you going to handbuild these things, are you going to "throw" them....?
Do you want to high fire, low fire, Raku....??
I would recommend not buying a kiln until you've taken a class or two...
