Using Recycled Boxes When Moving

Is there a freeware program for geneology that features a typical tree views of generations?

I would love to find a program that will let me work with standard tree views; like a box for "me", and then two blocks for my parents and four for my great-grandparents, etc. I like the kind of geneology tree that you would find typically in books. This is a basic, simple view point, and it must be freeware.
