Persian rugs have been made for centuries. They are usually made of wool but cotton and the more expensive silk are also used to create these wonderful master pieces.

They come in sizes of 10 Feet (215cm) by 15 Feet (450cm) or 13 Feet (400cm) by 24 Feet (730 cm). This style of rug would work well in a room with in a traditional or period style. Turkish rugs can be recognized by the altar and tulip designs of the prayer rugs they often come in red and green colours. They usually come in three sizes; 3 Feet (92cm) by 5 Feet (152cm), 5 Feet (152cm) by 7 Feet (213cm) and 6 Feet (183cm) by 10 Feet (305cm). These rugs would work well in a colourful modern interior.

I have bought a tan ceramic vase today (at flea market)with the word "Ramse" in the bottom any info(

I found it today at a flea market so who was selling it would have no idea. It is tan, small and very sturdy. Does anyone know anything about pottery, where it came from, is that a common name ect. Anything, or where I can look to get more info. Thanks
