What to use for reception food?

We're having a bit of a problem finding plates and cups for our wedding. We would like to use nicer plates (like corningware or stoneware, etc) but we don't have a place anywhere near us (even within 100 miles) to rent it! I can't find anywhere online that has anything remotely cheap that I'd be willing to buy (too many Made in China...not good).

Would clear plastic plates be okay? We're just having a dessert reception and it's just our family. If not, any suggestions on what we can do?

Hi. That would be fine! I know I have seen some nice ones at Walmart. Here is a site with another option. Look around this site. I just copied one option. You can get these ones in clear, white, or ivory. They come in a range of sizes. You can get 120 (7 inch) plates for $52.61!! That's only 44 cents each!
