best way to pull small dent on the top of a vintage motorcycle steel gas tank with suction cup puller?
Drilling a guide pulling hole is not a option on this vintage bike's gas tank. What size diameter suction cup would be best for application? I can get a 2" and 5" cup. Thanks, Chris
not using a dent puller for one, the metal is too thick for that, you need a tool made for tanks, it's an iron bar made in an L shape with a flat end, you put it in the tank through gas filler and pull up sharply, or use the lip to pry on, lot of old bikers have a set lying around there's several lengths and shapes, might find a boly man with a bar that will work now that you know what you need.
