Home Décor Shopping Made Easy
Beauty is something that everyone cherishes. Beauty, not only with respect to the human body or physique but also to the environment that we live in. It is something which everybody prefers in their own style, especially the surroundings or the place of habitat. Needless to say, humans go out of the way to beautify the place that they call home. In order to aid the people in decorating their houses many business people have come up with home decor and furniture stores. Stores like Pottery Barn mainly deal in providing different types of furniture and housing accessories such as rugs, curtains, etc. These stores provide a wide range and variety in the furniture from traditional or antique to modern and sometimes to even the strangest of styles.
Pottery Barn is one among the world’s best stores in providing furniture and home décor. It is an American based home furnishing store with branches in the United States and Canada and it was first introduced during September 1986. Since the beginning of its foray into the home furnishing business the store has seen many successes. The headquarters of this store is located in San Francisco. This store also provides an internet shopping facility, to provide additional convenience to the customers. Not only does it just provide furniture, it also provides a wide variety of furnishings and furniture specifically designed for children and for the teens too. It has also come up with a unique range of slip covers that can be used to convert your old dusty chairs into modern chic looking pieces. Due to the flexibility offered the slip covers are probably the most popular item on sale in the store.
Stores like Pottery Barn are quite popular and this store has catered to many American sitcoms, talk shows and other promotional activities as well.

Pottery: firing, reapplying fresh clay, refiring ok?
I know the title sounds a little weird, but is it possible if say I were to make a clay pot that didn't look very smooth when i took it out of the kiln, could I apply clay slip to it and polish it and refire it so it would look smooth?
or would it crack
No, the added clay would almost certainly flake off in refiring. But you may find that by using a rough stone, emery paper, or other abrasives, you can take off the roughness.
