Detroit Red Wings Tickets - Hockeytown Stars Are Headed For The Top
The Red Wings 2008-2009 season roster looks pretty good with Dan Cleary, Pavel Datsyuk, Kris Draper, Valtteri Filppula, Johan Frazen, Darren Helm, Tomas Holmstrom, Marian Hossa, Jiri Hudler, Tomas Kopecky, Kirk Maltby, Darren McCarty, Mikael Samuelsson and Henrik Zetterberg. Defensemen for the Red Wings include Chris Chelios, Jonathan Ericsson, Niklas Kronwall, Brett Lebda, nicklas Lidstrom, Andreas Lilja, Derek Meech, Brian Rafalski and Brad Stuart. Goalies are Ty Conklin and Chris Osgood. This season’s Red Wings prospects are Justin Abdelkader, Joakim Andersson, Dick Axelsson, Randy Cameron, Cory Emmerton, Eric Himelfarb, Evan McGrath, Jan Mursak, Nick Oslund, Ryan Oulahen, Mattias Ritola, John Ryno and Jack Torquato. Red Wings defensemen players include Jakub Kindl, Logan Pyett, Bryan Rufenach, Alexander Seluyanov and Brendan Smith. Goalies are Jimmy Howard and Daniel Larsson. Head coach Mike Babcock, assistant coach Paul MacLean, assistant coach Brad McCrimmon, goaltending coach Jim Bedard, video coach Keith McKittrick, athletic trainer Piet Van Zant, equipment manager Paul Boyer, assistant equipment manager John Remejes, assistant equipment manager Adam Sheehan, assistant athletic trainer Russ Baumann, team masseur Sergei Tchekmarev and massage therapist Lynn Newman. The Red Wings are working their way to the top again, second in line in the NHL Western Conference standing behind San Jose. With 68 points, it’s a hop and a skip from the 73 points the leaders have. Although the Red Wings took a loss in their last game before break, which was against the Coyotes, they’re still in good shape to take home the Stanley Cup as they have done in the past. For January, the Wings will face off against the Stars and the Capitals for a home and an away game respectively. In February, the Wings will host games against the Blues, Coyotes, Oilers, Wild, Avalanche, Predators, Ducks, Sharks and Kings. The away games will take the Red Wings on the road where they will take the ice against the Penguins, Predators, Blue Jackets, Wild and Predators. In March, the Red Wings will also be on the road to play away games against the Blues, Avalanche, Blues, Blue Jackets, Thrashers, Flames and Oilers. They can welcome challenges on their own ice as they host games against the Blue Jackets, Coyotes, Flames, Flyers, Islanders and Predators. Unlike many other teams in the NHL, in April the Red Wings will face off against the Blues, Wild, Predators and Blackhawks on their own ice. They’ll challenge the Sabres and the Blackhawks as the visiting team in April, with games away from home, including the last game of the season for the Wings, which is against the Blackhawks on Sunday, April 12. Hockeytown, as Detroit is affectionately referred to, is cold and snowy but general managers Jim Nill and Ken Holland won’t be shivering as they head off to the 2009 NHL draft, which is being held in Arizona. For 4 to 5 hours a day Nill and Holland will be meeting with all of the draft-eligible players from every country who are in attendance for 3 to 4 days.

Any thoughts / comments / ratings on my new name list? Honesty, please?
Firstly, 85% of the names *do* have sentimental value but there is no need to let that change your views on the names, therefore I won't be saying which have sentimental value and which don't.
Everyone will receive a thumbs up from me, unless you are exceptionally rude.

Andersson is [I think] a slightly different name to Anderson. Andersson is 'son of Anders', I believe, and Anderson is 'son of Andrew'. But, I'm not entirely sure.
Alisha, you have an awesome name!
I completely LOVE Summer Juliet. Its probably one of the prettiest name combinations I have seen on this site. Its just completely beautiful. 1000 / 5
Autumn is different, still kinda pretty but not my taste. And I dont really think it goes well with Juliet 1/5
I really dislike the name Rose, it just seems Very Old to me. Maybe as a middle name though, if it means something to you? And Emilia is cute, haven't herd it much ! 2/5
Esme isnt really my taste. But Charlotte is beautiful. You should definitely consider switching the 2 around. I think it would sound alot better . 3/5
Caroline is one of my least favourite names. I like the slight varations to the name much better : Coraline and Carlina ( 2 of my favourite names ) . And I really dont like the middle name, it seems to long 1/5
Katya is okay, haven't herd it before.. And Ruby just seems a bit cheesy to me. 0/5
So my favourite girl names were definitely Summer Juliet , or Summer Charlotte !
Patrick is sorta classic but too old for me, definitely the same with John 1/5
Archer is cute, kinda different. I like it. And Lucas just isnt a name I like. Liam would be much cuter 3/5
Andersson isnt my taste, and I dont like the middle name. 0/5
Benson seems more like a last name. And again with the middle name . 0/5
Ender doesnt really seem boyish enuogh, and Michael is too over used for me 0/5
Love Shane, it's old but Ive always loved this name. I dont like David though. Too old . 3/5
Hunter is cute ! My favourite of the list. And although I dont really like the middle name ,the 2 names go nicely together . 4/5
