I am really nervous about going to this pottery class. The lady is mean. Help me!!?

I am in the Girl Scouts. We are earning our ceramic badges. Last month, we went to this ceramic place. The lady was really mean. She yelled at me for moving the turtle we are creating. She isn't a people person and she is always asking us questions. Today, we have to go again for the second session. I am really scared about her asking questions and the lady being mean. I'm also afraid I might mess up the turtle we are creating. I am really nervous even though my best friend who I haven't seen in a long time is there. My mom is going too. I just feel scared and nervous. What can I do to be less nervous? Should I be nervous? Have you ever done this before? Help me out please.

Honestly, if the lady is as mean and nasty as you say, then she has the problem, not you. If she is acting mean then you can do one of two things. You can either A. Ignore her rude, abbrasive behaviour and just conduct yourself in a professional manner (In which case people will see you as the better person) or B. Act rude and ignorant back, ask her what her problem is and stoop to her level.
Myself, I would select A and just laugh at how rediculous the person is for acting the way they act. They are just angry at the world, im sure she has some reason, maybe a loss in her life, a disfactory decision she made or a situation she is in.
