The history of the Dish Network lies with the service of EchoStar. With EchoStar’s application for direct satellite broadcast license, the brand name of Dish TV got its establishment in the market in the year 1995. After a successful broadcasting over 13 years, the company got divided into two namely the EchoStar Broadcasting Corporation and the Dish Network. Initially dish subscribers required some sort two different satellite dishes to be mounted on top of the roof, but now the subscribers can receive high definition HDTV channels all over the nation. Since the previous model of the Dish satellite was of low capability of signal strength, a new model called the DISH 1000.2 has been launched to provide better broadcasting and durability.
On the other hand Direct TV came into existence with the United States Satellite Broadcasting. The USSB started manufacturing the high power satellite dishes that was capable of digital MPEG 2 compression. In the year 2007 Direct TV started its upgrade toward the HDTV technology. As far as the customer reviews are concerned, the DirecTV network has been considered to be at top over the consistent period of time. With its high end delivery of picture and sound quality and the broadcasting of high definition multiple channels the Direct TV leads on the table against the Dish TV or other similar network providers.
