What art and crafts can I make out of these things?

We are preparing for the Mother's day. And I want to make something useful out of these things but I don't think what I can make.
Here are the things that I have:
1. colored papers
2. cartons/boxes/cardboard
3. clippings/cliparts from newspapers
4. glue/tape/paste/glue gun
5. colored pens/crayons/colored pencils

you could make photo keepsake boxes. cover the boxes (lid and bottom seperately) with your colored paper. Decorate it w/whatever pretty images (flowers, trees, animals, jewel images...etc...)that youd like to have be the "theme" of the box. Use your pencils/crayons and such to write "token" words like "love, family, cherish...etc". You can even water down your glue just a bit and paint it all over the box, it will dry in sort of a "modge podge" affect.
Fill it w/pictures from childhood and family events/gatherings...

OR, you could make a "cardboard flower boquet"
Cut the cardboard into strips for stems. Make leaves/greenery and blossoms out of your colored paper.
Stand a box up on it's 'tallest' end and decorate it as if it were a square vase to put your cardboard bouquet in...make a card to go with it...

Picture frames are easy to make out of what you have. Just make your "frame" structure out of the cardboard and then decorate it with your other supplies.

Just put everything you have out in front of you and see where your creativity leads you! And have fun!
