The cut of the sapphire will also affect the overall look, and the value of the gem, for e.g. a round sapphire will require more cutting than the princess. lnclusions or (flaws) will be easier to see with the rounder shaped gem.
Sapphires come in variations of colours, blue, purple, orangish pink, and yellow. The blue and pink gems are more expensive because they are rarer. The pink for e.g. will cost more especially if its colour is leaning toward the ruby family of gems. The most famous sapphire can be found in the natural history museum in New York, it is called the
(Star of Bombay), and is well worth a visit if you’re heading to the big apple. Sapphires are mostly found in Thailand, Burma sir lanka and in parts of North America. The choice of ring is a personal one. There are many styles to pick from; the solitaire is always a favourite, the princess cut, the pear shape, and the 3 stone diamond. This gem is a great choice of ring for all occasions, and if your fortunate enough to have reached your 45th wedding anniversary then you will have reached your sapphire wedding anniversary.
