Early Medieval or Late Antique?
Please define what you would mean when using the adjective early medieval to describe someone or something, and what you would mean when using the adjective Late Antique.
One limit that people use is the edict of Milan in 313 when Constantine declere the neutrality of the state in matters of religion and so Christians were free to follow their faith.
Another possible limit is 476 which is considered the end of the Roman Empire when the last emperor was deposed by Odoacar.
Then it may depend on context. You can characterize something as Late Antique or Early Medieval depending on whether it belongs culturaly to the ancient roman world or the christian middle ages.
