Is American Idol's studio audience way smaller than it appears?
I noticed exit signs amidst the audience, which had always appeared fairly large. If you have been in live studios before the first thing you notice is how small the set really is. I think american Idol is the same way. It probably holds 150 max.
One of the news casters from my local station went to a recording and said that the set looks extremely small compared to how it seems on TV.
