Why are there hidden pictures in my porcelain floor tiles??!?

My grandparents have found an amazing thing in their bathroom floor porcelain tiles- hidden pictures.
Almost like optical illusions, I've seen everything from bears, to foxes, to sheep, to people in these blue-ish tiles.
They are from Turkey, and the pictures are very subtle - you have to look hard to see them.

Why are they there ? What's the point?

if they are hidden then you wouldn't be seeing them!! if you can see them then they were meant to be looked at!
