Mountain life tends to create unique cultures.  The residents: loggers, conservationists, forest workers, miners, hikers, tourist and especially little old ladies are touched by the beauty of the mountains.    Take this gentle hike though my site, don't forget to stop and notice the wild flowers; take care around the wildlife and feel the touch of the mountain. Take an occasional side trail and find adventures with guest artists and current issues.
